Step-by-Step Installation
-
Ensure the container is reasonably level before installation and select the desired mounting height.
-
Attach the included drilling template.
-
Drill five holes using a Ø19 hole saw or 19 mm drill bit.
-
Open the doors and mount the left-side brackets. Note: The lock must be in the locked position. Align the cam to engage with the interior bracket, then fasten all parts together.
-
Trim approx. 1.5 x 15 cm of the outer rubber seal to fit around the left bracket.
-
Unlock the lock and mount the right-side brackets.
-
Close the doors and test the locking function. If needed, adjust the brackets to ensure they are vertically aligned with the container (both inside and outside). The gap between the outer brackets should be 10 mm.
-
Finally, rivet or weld the nuts. Note: Riveting, welding, or otherwise securing the nuts is a requirement for Class 3–5 certification.
-
Always store the key card in a safe place – it is required when ordering replacement keys. Keep the included parts list drawing as it is needed for ordering spare parts.
It is essential to follow the installation instructions closely. Incorrect installation may void insurance coverage.
